PER Online – Recreational Craft Skipper

The Recreational Craft Skipper (PER) course in online mode from Alfa Nautica School offers you different options to study at your own pace or with teacher support, as you prefer.

All options are designed to help you successfully pass the official theory exam and complete the mandatory practical training required to obtain your qualification.

You can choose between the online-only option without practical training, allowing you to study independently from home; the online-only option with practical training, offering full access to videos and practical training in Valencia; or the live online option, with live Zoom tutorials once a week, recorded so you can review them at your convenience. All options include instructor support and the option to attend private in-person classes if desired.

In addition to adapting to your learning style, the complete PER Online course includes everything you need to train as a recreational boat skipper in a complete and professional manner:

• Theory through videos, virtual tutorials via Zoom, face-to-face classroom, home delivery or training in companies, depending on the option chosen.
• The mandatory Safety and Navigation practicals (16 hours), on board the best training sailboat in the Marina of Valencia, an Elan 514 with home automation or on one of our motorboats.
• The mandatory short-range radio operator training (12 hours), carried out in approved simulators in our classrooms.
• Exclusive app with all the official exam tests, practical exercises and navigation charts.
• All materials included in a personalized briefcase: course book, set square, protractor, compass, eraser, pencil and nautical chart.
• Complete management of examination rights and administrative processing of the degree at a low-cost price.
We also help you manage the psychophysical fitness certificate, which is mandatory for obtaining the PER (Recreational Skipper's License).

Once you pass the theory exam, complete the practical training, and submit your medical certificate, you will receive your official qualification authorizing you to operate vessels up to 15 meters in length and personal watercraft (PWCs), navigate up to 12 nautical miles from the coast and between islands in archipelagos such as the Balearic or Canary Islands, both day and night, and operate all types of PWCs. You will also have the option to complete optional sailing practical training if you wish to operate sailboats or extend your Balearic Islands license, allowing you to travel from anywhere on the Iberian Peninsula to the Balearic Islands.
