Intensive PER
During the Intensive PER course, you'll live and learn aboard a fully equipped 16-meter sailboat, alongside a small group of students and a professional instructor. For 7 days, you'll sail along the Mediterranean coast while receiving real-time theoretical training and completing all the required practical exercises.
This intensive course is designed for those who want to obtain their certification in the shortest possible time, without sacrificing quality or real-world sailing experience. It's also an excellent opportunity to gain confidence in maneuvers, teamwork, and decision-making in a nautical environment.
The course includes:
Onboard training, covering the topics required by the Directorate General of the Merchant Marine: nautical nomenclature, meteorology, navigation charts, safety, buoyage, legislation, maneuvers and emergency response.
Mandatory Safety and Navigation (16 hours) and Short Range Radio Operator (12 hours) training, carried out throughout the voyage.
Optional additional training, if you wish to expand your qualifications.
Life on board in double cabins, with full use of the facilities of the training sailboat.

Teaching materials included: course book, nautical chart, navigation instruments and support material.
Management of examination rights and administrative processing of the qualification.
Assistance in obtaining the mandatory psychophysical certificate.
Once you have passed the theoretical exam and completed the practical training, you will be able to obtain the official title of Recreational Boat Skipper, which qualifies you to operate boats up to 15 meters in length and jet skis, navigate up to 12 miles from the coast, day and night, and between islands in archipelagos such as the Balearic and Canary Islands.

The Intensive PER Course at Alfa Nautical School is a unique experience: theoretical training, mandatory practical sessions, and life on board, all concentrated into a one-week voyage. You'll sail around Ibiza, Formentera, and the Levante coast while training to become a recreational boat skipper. A perfect combination of practical learning, adventure, and official training.

On board the Elan 514: your floating classroom
Our practical training takes place on an Elan 514 training sailboat, a large vessel, perfectly equipped both technically and in terms of comfort, ideal for a complete and safe learning experience.
