PNB requirements Vessel

  • Ser mayor de 18 años, o mayor de 16 años en el momento de presentarse al examen teórico.
  • Aportar un certificado de haber superado un reconocimiento psicofísico, conforme a la normativa vigente sobre titulaciones náuticas.
  • Aprobar el examen teórico correspondiente.
  • Realizar 8 horas prácticas básicas de seguridad y navegación de PNB.
  • Realizar un curso PNB de radiocomunicaciones de 4 horas (2 teóricas y 2 prácticas).

    Boat skipper course in Valencia

    The PNB or Patrón de Navegación Básica (Basic Navigation Skipper) is a qualification thanks to which you will be able to drive from jet skis to motor boats up to 8 metres in length. The limit is 5 miles from the coast (i.e. accessible beach, harbour, etc.). It may not seem like much, but it is not, because over time and if you are enthusiastic about going to sea, you can extend your basic qualification. This qualification also enables you to sail by day or night.

    To obtain the PNB in Valencia, you only have to pass a course that we teach at Alfa Náutica. You can opt for the classroom course at our nautical school in Valencia. You must take a 16-hour theory course, only two hours a day, for 4 weeks. In addition to safety and navigation and radio practice. We include all the necessary material, we manage examination fees and processing. If you are 18 years old or even 16 years old, but with the permission of your parents or guardians, get your PNB.
